International Admission Requirements

Midwestern Career College (MCC) is pleased to welcome international students to our campus. Whether you are looking for a Vocational English as a Second Language program to improve your English skills or you want to gain vocational training in any of our healthcare technology programs, we are here for you.

Midwestern Career College is a Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)-certified school and is eligible to enroll F-1 students.

Our international admissions counselors are available to walk you through our application and admission process, answering any questions you may have.

Requirements for All International Applicants

All international applicants should submit the following documentation:

  • Application form
  • Copy of passport
  • Copy of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Professional resume
  • An original Form I-134 (Affidavit of Support) or an affidavit of support on stamped paper if you are being sponsored
  • An original bank statement issued within 45 days of intended start date

Transfer Students

If you are in the U.S. and transferring from another school, you must also submit:

  • Part A of MCC’s Transfer Request Form 
  • Copy of your valid I-94
  • Copy of I-20s from all U.S. schools previously attended
  • Transcripts from all U.S. schools previously attended
  • Nonrefundable application fee of $100

Change of Status

If you are in the U.S. and seeking a change of status, you must also submit:

  • A letter of explanation stating why you would like to change your status and study at Midwestern Career College
  • Copy of U.S. Government approvals, if any
  • Any additional supporting documents
  • Payment to SEVIS at www.fmjfee.com
  • Payment of onrefundable application fee.

Applying from Abroad

If you are a new student applying from abroad, you must also submit:

  • Receipt of payment to SEVIS at www.fmjfee.com
  • Payment of onrefundable application fee.
  • Payment of nonrefundable postal fee./li>
