TOEFL/IELTS

The TOEFL is not required for admission to Midwestern Career College. However, students who do not take the test or who do not score above certain thresholds will be required to take the College’s English language and mathematics diagnostic test prior to registration.

To be exempt from this placement test, a student’s TOEFL score should be:

220 or higher for the computer-based test, or
550 or higher for the paper-based test.

The result will be used for academic advising and placement.
