About The Career

Diagnostic Medical Sonography

The AAS in Diagnostic Medical Sonography degree program, recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), is designed to prepare students to start a career as a sonographer.

Sonographers, also known as ultrasound techs, operate ultrasound equipment which uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of internal body structures for diagnostic purposes.
