The Midwestern Career College Pay It Forward Scholarship supports new students entering select healthcare programs by recognizing commitment, perseverance, resilience, and the desire to give back to the community.
The Midwestern Career College (MCC) Pay It Forward Scholarship reflects the college’s appreciation for students who bring passion, resilience, and a commitment to service into their healthcare education.
This scholarship is intended to support students as they prepare for healthcare careers and consider how their new skills may benefit their communities and help the next generation in the future. A limited number of one-time scholarships may be awarded to new applicants enrolling in selected healthcare programs.
To be considered, students must be enrolled in one of the eligible programs listed below and submit the scholarship application form at least three weeks before the program start date. Students should also have no administrative holds with the college, satisfy all scholarship requirements, and agree to the applicable terms and conditions.
Eligible Programs
The scholarship value is allocated evenly by term across the full length of the program. A student must successfully complete each term to remain eligible for the scholarship amount assigned to that term.
Eligible candidates may apply during the admissions process. Applicants are expected to complete the scholarship process at least three weeks before the term begins. As part of the application, students will answer several questions, and written responses may be reviewed for completeness, spelling, and grammar. The Admissions Manager will notify students if a scholarship is awarded.

For questions, contact Admissions at admissions@mccollege.edu or call 312-236-9000 x 1.
As with other MCC scholarships, students must agree to and may be asked to sign an agreement allowing publicity associated with Midwestern Career College, including a formal interview, use of the applicant’s name and photograph, and a testimonial. This helps the college inspire and encourage future students from the community.
Students must successfully complete each term to earn the scholarship portion assigned to that term. If a term is not completed, that portion of the scholarship may be considered unearned and removed, which may increase the student’s overall balance.
All financial contracts and agreements remain enforceable regardless of scholarship application status. Scholarship awards are discretionary and cannot be used in place of primary financial obligations such as payment plan agreements. Credit balances created by scholarship adjustments have no cash value.
This and other MCC scholarships may or may not be combined and may not apply in the same way when transfer credit is involved. Students should speak with their admissions counselor for details.
