Midwestern Career College’s 40-week Medical Assisting program prepares students for entry-level clinical and administrative healthcare support roles in clinics, medical offices, outpatient centers, and other healthcare environments.
Students receive hands-on training in phlebotomy, EKG procedures, medical office operations, patient interaction, and foundational clinical skills used in modern healthcare settings.

Midwestern Career College’s 40-week Medical Assisting program trains students for entry-level positions in the medical field. Students will have the skills to work as medical and office assistants in clinics, hospitals, and doctors’ offices.

Medical assistants help connect patients, physicians, and healthcare teams in clinics, medical offices, and outpatient settings. Medical assistants will answer patient questions and be able to talk them through any procedures they may go through while being able to prepare and administer medication, collect lab specimens, and perform other essential tasks. They also have knowledge of insurance codes, medical software and accounting, and office billing basics.
