This partnership reflects the natural connection between MCC’s Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Technology program and the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago’s mission. END technologists play a crucial role in diagnosing and monitoring epilepsy through specialized brain wave testing and monitoring procedures.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago works tirelessly to improve the lives of people affected by epilepsy through education, advocacy, and community support programs. Their efforts help reduce stigma while promoting understanding of this neurological condition that affects over 3 million Americans.

Registration includes completing participant information and the opportunity to create individual fundraising pages to support the Foundation’s ongoing work.

MCC’s Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program prepares students for careers as EEG technologists, professionals who conduct the brain wave tests essential for epilepsy diagnosis and treatment monitoring. This specialized healthcare field offers graduates the opportunity to work directly with neurologists and epileptologists in hospitals, clinics, and specialized epilepsy centers.
