Neurodiagnostics: The Best Healthcare Career You’ve Never Heard Of

Electroneurodiagnostics isn’t a well-known career, but for people with an interest in the brain, our Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Technologist program can help you get the education you need for a great income and exciting career options.

Our program prepares students to be EEG techs who run tests on both kids and adults to map electrical activity in the brain. They help diagnose seizure disorders like epilepsy, as well as brain injuries, brain tumors, sleep disorders and memory problems.

As your career progresses, you can even specialize in monitoring brain activity during brain surgery. How exciting is that?

We speak with hospitals each week who are jumping at the chance to hire more EEG techs for their neuroscience departments. There is strong demand out there for EEG techs, and the salary is above average, too.

How Can I Pay for My Education?

Financial Aid: Federal student financial aid is available to those who qualify.

Military Benefits: Veterans and Active Duty Military may be eligible for funding for some or all of the program.

WIOA Funding: Are you unemployed or underemployed? This program is eligible for WIOA funding that could cover most of the tuition for this program.

Employee Tuition Reimbursement: Do you work in a hospital or medical center? You may be eligible for tuition reimbursement to help cover the cost of expenses. Check with your HR department or your department head for more details.

Begin the Financial Aid Process

Applicants to most programs are eligible to apply for U.S. Federal Student Aid. Apply by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), an online application submitted to the U.S. Department of Education. For Midwestern Career College to receive the results, enter MCC’s Federal School Code, 041390. It may take at least three business days for MCC to receive your completed FAFSA information.
