MCC Clinical Medical Assisting Program Chosen As One Of UChicago Medicine’s Preferred Partners Pathways Programs

Midwestern Career College (MCC) is proud to see our Clinical Medical Assisting program chosen as one of the Preferred Partner Pathways Programs of the University of Chicago Medical Center (UChicago Medicine).

As part of the partnership, UChicago Medicine has committed to:

• Guaranteed interviews for all qualified graduates of the program
• Guaranteed five (5) available extern spots per class
• Guaranteed job offer for 50% of each graduating class, contingent on students meeting UChicago Medicine criteria listed below
• Custom extern orientation
• Sign-in bonus for all students who successfully complete externship at UC Medicine site and receive their offer of employment

To qualify, Clinical Medical Assisting students must have:

• All passing grades in the program
• Positive reference from the Academic Dean of Certificate Programs
• Successfully completed externship hours
• Earned Certification

Application, screening, extension of jobs offers, and hiring shall be governed by the UChicago Medicine’s current policies and procedures and consistent with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
