Medical Assisting

Medical Assisting includes providing essential support to healthcare professionals by performing both clinical and administrative tasks. Medical Assistants perform various duties such as taking vital signs, assisting with examinations, and managing patient records.

With a blend of clinical skills and organizational abilities, Medical Assistants contribute significantly to the smooth operation of medical facilities and the well-being of patients.

MCC’s Clinical Medical Assisting program includes an 165-hour clinical externship at an MCC-affiliated site. Through this externship, students have the opportunity to hone their skills, build confidence, and establish professional connections within the healthcare industry,
