The Surgical Technology Program prepares competent entry-level surgical technologists in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains.

Students must complete a 270 clock-hour externship at MCC affiliated clinical sites, during which a completion of 120 clinical cases, as outlined in the Surgical Technology Student Handbook, must be completed.
Completion of clinical hours and cases is required for graduation.
