U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents

U.S. citizens or permanent residents (green card) who would like to study at Midwestern Career College.

1. Complete Midwestern Career College’s online Request for Information Form.

Once we receive your request for information, an admissions counselor will contact you to start the process. During your admissions interview, your counselor will discuss your academic goals and interests to help you select the program that best suits your needs. The counselor will review the admissions requirements and the necessary application documents to make sure you understand every step of the process.

3. Schedule an interview with an admissions representative.

4. Submit two application essays, if applicable.

5. Provide a translated and evaluated copy of your high school diploma or fill out a High School Attestation Form.

High School graduation is required for admission to all programs.

6. Provide a translated and evaluated copy of your College/University Transcripts and/or Diploma/Certificate, if applicable.

All documents that are not from a U.S institution must be evaluated. All evaluations must be completed by an approved NACES agency. Transcripts in a language other than English must also include an official English translation.

If you would like to transfer credits into one of MCC’s Associate Degree programs, your transcripts must be evaluated on a course-by course basis. Otherwise, only general evaluation to determine US equivalency is required.

7. Provide copy of valid, government-issued photo ID.

8. Pay a nonrefundable application fee of $100.

9. Provide proof of having earned a high school diploma or equivalent.

10. After the documents listed above are submitted and approved, applicants must take the online entrance placement exam.

11. If the applicant passes the entrance exam, their entire profile will be reviewed by the International Student Admissions Office. If the student is accepted, they will receive a letter of admissions into Midwestern Career College and they may begin their enrollment process with their International Admission’s Adviser.
