Applicant Requirements:
- Passion for connecting with others in person and online
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Positive and friendly demeanor
- Enthusiasm for their program and for MCC
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Abilities and willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
- Demonstrate a commitment to promoting the school and serve as a positive representative for the college
- Maintain minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
Preferred Skills:
- Social media presence
- Photo/video editing
- Community outreach experience
Program Details (may vary by term and program):
- Commit to the position for 6 months. Applicants who are scheduled to graduate in less than 6 months are eligible to apply provided they commit fulfilling their student ambassador responsibilities for the full 6-month term
- Serve as a peer mentor for new students
- Be a brand ambassador for your program
- Complete a review on Google, social media, and Niche
- Help organize and lead on-campus activities
- Help lead campus tours for new and prospective students
- Represent the school one or more events (in-person and virtual) per term, depending on event availability
- Provide written and video testimonials
- Participate in social media campaigns to promote the college and its programs
- Share your authentic experience throughout your program at MCC
- Attend quarterly meetings
- Other duties, as requested
Scholarship details:
- $500 scholarship, distributed at the end of the 6-month ambassador term
- Endorsement on LinkedIn and/or recommendation letter, based on performance
- Professional headshot photo
