Vista Medical Center is currently looking to hire an Echosonographer to perform ultrasound examinations of the heart and to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation.  This individual will also be responsible for recording and maintaining test data and preparing preliminary interpretations of test results. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  Will also perform a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a physician or manager.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree and graduate of an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology
• Certification through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field.

Selected candidate will undergo a drug test, criminal background check, must have a valid driver’s license, and be willing to work overtime.
