MCC Welcomes Explorers

MBMHMC-Class Shot

With open arms – MCC Welcomes MBMHMC Explorers. Recently, Midwestern Career College hosted a campus tour with Collins Academy students, facilitated by our Dean and Admissions Team. Collins Academy Students are also part of the Explorers Program from My Block, My Hood, My City, and last week they received an up-close look at Midwestern Career College.

Learning about MCC

We showed the MCC experience to the Explorers, starting with a campus tour. Explorers had the opportunity to see our labs, classrooms and take a look at some of the top-of-the-line equipment. Current MCC students were also glad to see the Explorers walk down the hallways and warmly greeted them. After the campus tour, Explorers heard a brief presentation on MCC’s program offerings.

To close out the day, Explorers worked on a hands-on activity. Led by our Program Director and Dean, Trina Ellis-Childs, students learned how to take a pulse, practicing on their classmates. Watch the clip to see a quick glimpse of the tour! MCC would like to give a special thank you to My Block, My Hood, My City.

In an ever-changing world, students need access to multiple career pathways! From Allied Health to Business, and now IT, Midwestern Career College provides “Education with a Purpose”.
