MCC Career Services Hosts LinkedIn Headshot and Profile Development Event

May 9, 2023. Midwestern Career College’s Career Services team hosted a LinkedIn Headshot Day event designed to support students in strengthening their professional presence and digital profiles.

The event provided students with professional headshots and one-on-one guidance on optimizing LinkedIn profiles to better communicate their skills, education, and career goals to prospective employers.

Strengthening Professional Branding

Career Services advisors worked directly with students to:

• Develop professional LinkedIn profile photos
• Refine headline and summary sections
• Highlight technical skills and credentials
• Align profile language with career objectives

A strong professional profile plays an important role in modern hiring environments, where recruiters frequently review candidates’ digital presence as part of the evaluation process.
