Please join us to congratulate our lead instructor for the DMS program, Peter Bleka, who has passed the ARDMS Breast (BR) Sonography exam!

Bleka’s BR Credential will positively impact MCC in the following ways:

• Lead to an expansion of Externship Site Affiliations and forming new partnerships with MCC by having our students participate in these new externship sites;  

• Offer MCC students the opportunity to take the BR Specialty Certification Exam, thus, expanding their credentials; 

• Attract more prospective students to the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program and MCC with the addition of the BR Specialty; 

• Allow MCC students to take the BR Specialty Exam after training with Peter Bleka, which will distinguish MCC from other vocational schools that may not have the capability to provide their students with the opportunity to take the BR Specialty Exam; 
    
• Provide more opportunities for students to become placed after graduation, including sites specifically for BR after completing the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program and obtaining a BR Specialty Credential.
