A passionate driven leader with constant focus on patient care and team member growth, Jennifer Haygood stays abreast of new research and clinical developments in the field of Neurodiagnostic Technology. She has been able to grow within Christ Medical Center for the past 20 years and has been an imperative collaborative for many of the changes and advances in the department.

Melina Ramirez

Lead Diagnostic Service Tech, Rush University Medical Center

Melina Ramirez started her medical journey at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Movement Sciences. During her undergrad, she volunteered at UI Health in the Pediatrics department as well as becoming President of the Collegiate Panhellenic Council. After graduation, she knew she wanted to gain more hands-on experience in the medical field. After graduating from Midwestern Career College in 2021, she interviewed for her externship at Rush University Medical Center, where she was offered a permanent position as a Diagnostic Service Tech and soon became the Lead DST. 

Melina’s Day In The Life series talk will be of great interest to anyone who wishes to learn more about the field of Medical Assisting. All are welcome to attend this online event!
