Midwestern Career College offers the First Responders Family-Friendly Scholarship for eligible first responders and qualifying family members. This scholarship helps support students as they pursue career training in degree and certificate programs.
You have dedicated your lives to helping others. The First Responders Family-Friendly Scholarship is Midwestern Career College’s way of giving back to first responders and their families by helping reduce the cost of career training.

This and other MCC scholarships may or may not be eligible to be combined and may not apply in the same way when transfer credit is involved. Please discuss your situation with your admissions counselor for details.
Eligible applicants include active first responders such as law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, and 911 emergency dispatchers, as well as eligible spouses and dependents.
The scholarship provides up to $1,000 toward an eligible associate degree program and up to $500 toward an eligible certificate program.
Scholarship awards are applied toward tuition for the student’s program and do not have cash value.
