About The Job
In this role, the Phlebotomist uses approved techniques to collect quality biological samples for laboratory testing from all patient populations (pediatric through geriatric); and performs electrocardiograms (EKG’s) for cardiology interpretation, all while focusing on the needs of the patient and exemplifying the service excellence goals of care, concern, respect and cooperation.

- High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
- Less than one year of previous job-related experience
Licensure/Certifications
Preferred
- CPR must be obtained within 90 days of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Only.
- Phlebotomy certification – Certifying agencies: ASPT – American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians, NCCT- National Center for Competency Testing, NHA – National Healthcare Association (CPT), NPA – National Phlebotomy Association
