What kind of degree should I choose?

A two-year Associate degree in Business Administration is perfect for anyone looking for an introduction to several business-related fields. At Midwestern Career College, the curriculum includes an overview of various industries, such as management theory, business ethics, and project management to name a few.

Other colleges and universities may offer a four-year Bachelor’s degree in more specific subjects such as marketing or accounting.

Does an Associate degree in Business Administration match my interests and goals?

Think about why you are interested in getting a degree in business. Maybe you want to travel the world with an international company, advance in your current career, or maybe even start your own business! If the goals of the program are the same as what you want for your future, then it may be time to apply.

What if I don’t know my career path yet?

That’s okay! An Associate in Business Administration covers a wide variety of topics, so you can get hands-on experience in a variety of different areas. A business degree will prepare you with business-related skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, research, and communication. All of those skills translate very well into various careers in the global marketplace.

As an international student, can I get work experience while I study?

If you want to gain work experience while you are studying, choose an accredited institution that offers Curricular Practical Training (CPT). For example, Midwestern Career College’s Associate in Business Administration offers an externship course where international students are eligible to work under CPT.

What happens after I graduate?

OPT offers students the opportunity to apply to work in the US full time for one year after graduation. If you want to be eligible to continue working after you graduate, make a good investment and apply to an accredited institution that offers Optional Practical Training (OPT).
