Dermatology Medical Assistant- job post
Looking for a friendly, energetic customer service oriented medical assistant to join our dermatology team.
Our office is a medical and cosmetic dermatology practice that offers complete skin care and services to a high-end clientele. The ideal candidate for this position is a polished individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has a working knowledge regarding skin care.
Duties include greeting patients, educating patients on skin care programs for acne, sun-damaged and problem skin, assisting with minor skin surgeries and cosmetic procedures, autoclaving, maintaining inventory, verifying insurance information, scheduling appointments, patient triage, obtaining medical histories, assisting with minor skin surgeries and cosmetic procedures, scanning documents and maintaining the medical record, and performing suture removal.
Skills required: Computer knowledge, typing-skills over 50 wpm, MA experience/certificate preferred.
Qualifications: Team player, friendly personality, professional attitude, neat appearance, works well under pressure, customer service oriented, provides top service to high-end clientele.

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
