Pride Health is seeking an experienced Neurodiagnostic Technologist (EEG Tech) to join the Neurology: EEG team at Oak Lawn, IL 60453. This role focuses on performing high-quality EEG procedures for patients across the lifespan, contributing to critical neurological care.

Key Responsibilities

  • EEG Procedures: Perform inpatient and outpatient EEGs, including portable studies and monitoring in specialized units (e.g., ICU, Epilepsy Monitoring Units).
  • Patient Care: Work with patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics (conditions include seizures, strokes, trauma, and neurological disorders).
  • Data Management: Utilize Nihon Kohden software for data collection and reporting; manage EPIC charting.
  • Collaboration: Communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and adapt to floating requirements within ICU as needed.
  • Equipment Handling: Ensure proper setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of EEG equipment.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of EEG tech experience.
  • Active BLS certification (AHA).
  • Active EEG certification (unless grandfathered by experience).
  • Experience working with neonate to geriatric patients.
  • Proficiency in Nihon Kohden software.
  • Experience with EPIC charting.

Additional Information:

  • Location: Oak Lawn, IL 60453
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour Day Shifts (Start between 6 AM – 7 AM, will be discussed during the interview)/ 40 hours per week
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Pay Rate: $50 – $58/hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
