About the Opportunity

Working alongside providers and clinic staff, the Clinical Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and clinical functions to support the patient care experience and the efficient operation of the medical facility. This position will be a liaison between patients and providers, facilitating communication and guiding patients through their before, during, and after procedure care plan. From assisting providers during patient medical procedures to handling patient-specific administrative tasks, this role will ensure all patients receive high quality care and a positive clinic experience.

About You

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical/medical assistant work experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the AAMA, Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by the AMT, or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) by the NHA,
• Phlebotomy or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus.
• Proficient with EHR systems and propensity to learn new technology.
• Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, verbal and written.
• Patient-centric approach.

Additional Details

• On-site, rotating between MIMIT Health locations within the Chicago area, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm CST.
• On occasion, flexibility in the work schedule will be necessary to meet the unpredictable demands of the clinics’ operations including work in the evenings or on weekends.
