Registered EEG Technologist and the Clinical Instructor of EEG, Rush University Medical Center in Chicago

Tessa Arndt is a Registered EEG Technologist and the Clinical Instructor of EEG at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She received her Associates of Science at McHenry County College, and her Bachelors of Science in Psychology at University of Illinois at Chicago. While at UIC, she discovered her passion for Neurology and shortly after began the END program at Midwestern Career College. While completing her externship at RUMC, Tessa was offered a job as an EEG technologist, four years later she became the Clinical Instructor for the department.  

Tessa has an eye for detail, a passion for learning, and an empathetic and compassionate nature that has allowed her to have a successful career in Neurodiagnostics. RUMC has an accredited level four-epilepsy center, allowing Tessa to develop expertise in all patient populations.  

When she is away from work, you can find Tessa baking some tasty desserts, asking strangers if she can pet their dog, reading a book on her balcony, or going to see some live music. She loves to travel, especially to places where she can snorkel or hike.  

Tyler Winter, CDA, MADAA

Practice Transition Coordinator, ADA Practice Transitions

Tyler Winter, CDA, LDA, RDA, MADAA, completed his AAS in Dental Assisting at Minnesota State and specialized in Community Dental Health Coordination at Rio Salado College.

He presently serves as a Practice Transitions Coordinator with the American Dental Association (ADA), playing a pivotal role in streamlining the intricate process of buying, selling, or associating with a dental practice. His efforts contribute to more predictable and successful transitions for dentists navigating these major career milestones.

Tyler was previously employed as an Oral Health Coordinator at Loyola University Medical Center and a Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant at Sanford Health. Besides his professional roles, Tyler actively contributes to the field through volunteer work, peer education, and steadfast advocacy for dental health and the advancement of dental assisting profession
