Streeterville Pediatrics is seeking for a professional, reliable, energetic, ambitious, knowledgeable individual to fill an immediate FULL TIME pediatric Medical Assistant Position in a busy downtown office.

Requires medical knowledge, administrative skills, good communication skills and able to work well with others.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Patient Care: Triaging/ Patient Information, administration of required vaccines, maintaining patient rooms, obtaining vital signs, lab procedures.

Administrative & Clerical Medical Assistants: Scheduling appointments and greeting patients, collecting payments- copays and balances, registering patient’s, verifying patient health insurance, sorting/handling office mail, updating patient demographics, EMR knowledge, Referrals, restocking vaccines/ information sheets, up-keeping of waiting area, exam rooms.

Education: Must be a High School graduate, must possess a certificate/ registration in Medical Assisting. Experience is preferred/ willing to train.

Position to be filled immediately: M-F, 9:00AM -5:00PM (hours may fluctuate) possibly Saturday’s 9:00AM-1:00PM.
