Midwestern Career College’s Chicago campuses are accessible by train, bus and car. Validated parking is available at 230 West Washington Avenue.

Driving Instructions to the Parking Garage

From the south on I-94

  • Take exit 51C for Washington Blvd.
  • Turn right onto W. Washington Blvd.
  • Follow Washington Blvd. for six blocks until reaching Franklin St.
  • The Washington Franklin Self Park will be on your left on the northeast corner.
  • There are entrances on both Washington Blvd. and Franklin St.

From the west on I-290 E

  • Take the exit for Wacker Dr.
  • Continue north on S. Wacker Dr.
  • Keep right, follow signs for Franklin St.
  • Merge onto S. Franklin St.
  • Travel five blocks until reaching Washington St.
  • The Washington Franklin Self Park will be on your left on the northeast corner.
  • There are entrances on both Washington Blvd. and Franklin St.

From the north on I-94 E

  • Get on I-94 E/Tri-State Tollway in Warren Township from Belvidere St
  • Follow I-94 E to Chicago.
  • Take exit 51C toward E Washington Blvd/100 N
  • Turn left onto W Washington Blvd
  • The Washington Franklin Self Park will be on your left on the northeast corner.
  • There are entrances on both Washington Blvd. and Franklin St.

From the parking garage to extension campus 203 N. LaSalle

  • From 230 W. Washington, walk two blocks east to the intersection of Washington and LaSalle.
  • Turn left and walk two blocks north to the intersection of Lake and LaSalle.
  • The building entrance is on the southwest side of the building.

Metra

Our main campus at 100 South Wacker Drive is one block east and one block north of Union Station, and one block south and one block east of Ogilvie Transportation Center. More information on Metra commuter lines and schedules can be found here.

*Note: Though Metra trains are tracked using onTime (an app available for Apple and Android phones), Metra tickets must be purchased on a separate service called Ventra (also available for Apple and Android phones).

CTA Trains

Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) manages train and bus lines as well. Click here for details and schedules, and click here for a map. Our 100 S. Wacker Drive space is:

  • one block north and two blocks west of the Quincy/Wells stop of the Brown, Orange, Pink and Purple lines
  • four blocks west of the Blue Line Monroe stop, and
  • five blocks west of the Red Line Monroe stop.

CTA Buses

MCC’s downtown campuses are easily accessible by nearby CTA bus lines including 1, 7, 19, 20, 28, 37, 56, 60, 121, 124, 125, 126, 130, 132, 134, 135, 136, 151, 156, 157. The gold stars on the map below (an interactive version can be found here) indicate our two campus locations in the metro area.
