MedTec Healthcare is a mission-driven, for-profit homecare & adult daycare provider that serves the aging population in the Chicagoland area. We help clients maintain their independence through all types of in-home support (e.g., meal-prep, cooking, cleaning, bathing) and encourage lifelong learning and community-building through our adult day care centers.

Role: Compliance Manager

The Compliance Manager is a key member of the MedTec team – ensuring that MedTec can remain compliant with various Medicaid, Illinois & Federal regulations. This individual will need to work closely with the operations team to help us stay abreast of new regulations and find how we can stay compliant while not sacrificing on client & staff experience.

This individual will also manage a team of 2-3 social workers in ensuring our quality of care remains high.

The successful candidate is a highly talented, experienced professional with a proven track record in developing and implementing high-value and pragmatic programs and processes. The role will require strong subject matter experience, attention to detail and team building capabilities. The candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to balance both strategic and tactical responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that MedTec Healthcare stays compliant with all applicable regulations (Illinois Department of Aging, IDPH, Medicaid, DOL, etc.)
  • Work with the operations team to optimize the client & staff experience while still staying compliant.
  • Manage a team of 2-3 social workers in conducting client home interviews (to ensure that our homecare aides are following the care plan and satisfying our clients)
  • Plan ahead and report up to the VP of Operations to ensure that efforts are well-coordinated and well-broadcasted to the entire office & field staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Passion for planning and organization – discomfort when there is not a clear schedule or process.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High drive individual who is results oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience participating in and/or leading process improvement or strategic initiatives, preferably within a recruiting function.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit – willing to roll up their sleeves and execute the changes required to take their organization to the next level.
  • A quick learner who will take initiative in an evolving, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
