Practice Administrative Associate Job

Location: 9730 S. Western Avenue Suite 440, Evergreen Park, IL 60805

LPL Financial is a firm in the financial planning industry. This company is very collaborative and based on a solid team approach. A predominant characteristic of the firm is its strong client service orientation-an attribute that drives the firm’s culture.

The successful candidate will have a background of support in the financial services industry. The Individual filling this position must be able to play a key role in delivering outstanding client care work and operate in a fast- paced organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, analytical, and time- management skills. While also being extremely detail- orientated and able to maintain multiple activities while managing competing priorities.

Job responsibilities

  • Job training and office administration, understanding the workflow and the general nature of the business.
  • To learn the compliances policies and overseeing all things compliance related for the practice.
  • Paperwork preparation and processing for clients, move money requests involving cash and/ or journals (not trades unless licensed), CRM use, financial planning software use, trade reviews, communication logs, check logs, record retention and assisting with client meetings.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Hard Skills Requirements

  • Highly proficient in MS Word (including formatting and other tools), Excel, Outlook, Adobe, software programs, Internet, and e-mail functions.
  • Strong grammar, spelling, and math skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a busy office environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Associate degree or more preferred.

Soft Skills Requirements

  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Energetic, self- reliant and positive attitude.
  • Self- starter with the ability to work independently of others with little or no supervision.
  • Communicate in a professional, friendly manner with clients.

  • Ability to maintain multiple assignments with competing priorities.
  • Excellent problem- solving capabilities.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to be coachable.

Compensation

  • This is on-site position.
  • Considering full or part-time candidates.
  • $15- $18/ hours staring out with potential for bonus, pay increases as skills and efficiency increases.
  • Benefits provided for full time positions.
